Concept of screws
BONElock® Dental Implant System
All abutments are supplied with two screws; a shorter one (dark color), the lab screw, and a longer one, the fixing screw, which will be used for final tightening of the abutment in the patient’s mouth. (fig. 3).
This ensures that despite e.g. multiple trials, which are also performed with the laboratory screw, the torque of 30 Ncm is transmitted with fresh, not yet used thread portions when the retaining screw is finally tightened.
The threads of the healing caps or, for example, the impression coping screws also have the thread length of the laboratory screw. This BONElock® concept increases quality and safety for your patient.
